    Great find, Chip.

Love all the flannel shirts in the student section. Look closely and you might see cc cat and SBH in the first couple of rows.

I found this in the basement files yesterday.  I am in the picture with the "over the shoulder fist pump".  Several of SBH's Read Hall residents are in the picture.  The Bobcats beat NIU 79-51 during this 1983-84 game.

Easily Jason Kent... Call time out and throw it up to a cold Kent. He threw it down almost every time.
Most memorable dunk - Trent at OSU or Basset in the Tourny!

Most memorable dunk for me was Gary Trent at BGSU during his second or third year. He was driving the baseline, seemingly cut off by a defender, and somehow executed a thunderous reverse slam. Totally stunned the house.

Second best memory was Victor Alexander on a breakaway against EMU in the Convo. It was pictured in a poster I saw on the wall the next year at The Blue Ruin.

I once threw an alley oop to Jason Kent in a pick up game and he dunked it while I kept going down the lane and under him.

It was glorious.

I love it when we resurrect old threads like this. Mo had some great alley oops in recent years. I personally enjoy the statement dunk Keeley had vs Akron in that "Battle for The MAC" game on a weeknight in February.

No love for NDour? The dunk that he pulled off in the Convo a one hander from way outside the lane or the dunk on Ohio State classics!
The oop by DJ to Devo is an all time great though I remember watching it at a BW3 in Raleigh NC the whole building erupted and I was the only Ohio fan there.

John Devereaux trailing Paul Baron in the early 80's - absolutely stunning. Here's an article from that period that captures the essence of the Cats.

I think we need to clarify the category here - "Best Dunkers in Ohio Basketball History." I believe there's a distinction between that and "Best Dunks." Davaughn W. and other athletes had some spectacular dunks, true, but many were created by exceptional feeds from other players. Trent created his own shots, often while double and triple teamed down low. That's why I consider him to be the best Bobcat dunker of all time.

Wait, was that THE Jerry Lebold who posted back in 2011 in this thread?

And, what ever happened to JSF?

Did Shaun Stonerook just create an account on BobcatAttack and bring back a 3.5 year old thread about dunking???

If so, welcome Stoney - Stick around awhile.

Correct that for you. ;-)

I know that BTC will say that you can't compare players in Hilt's era with those of later eras . . . on the other hand, BTC never saw Hilt dunk. There are a few others on here who have, and I suspect they'll agree with me that his dunks were totally unique and AWESOME, and awe inspiring.
