I don't think Ohio's out of conference schedule is all that bad considering they are a young team. Plus, if these teams that Ohio is playing are so terrible, just remember we only beat Jackson St by 5 and UAPB by 7. There's more parody in college basketball than ever before. Tulsa, FGCU, FSU, St Bonaventure were all good tests for Ohio. Tennessee St keeps on winning games and is currently on top of Tennessee so that win keeps looking more impressive.
Ohio's overall strength of schedule according to ESPN is 249 but in the MAC we rank 6th. Things could be worse. Northern Illinois has played Eureka, Indiana-Northwest, Roosevelt & Judson.
Definitely more parody. Badumdumpdumpchshshshshs.
Your point is well taken about strength of schedule. Playing SWAC teams pulls our SOS down even if those SWAC teams give us a hard time.
We will see if we can avoid the upset tomorrow night and move on to the MAC schedule 8-3 against Div I opponents. So far we have avoided losing a game we were expected to win. Hope the break has recharged our guys' batteries and they are focused and ready to go vs UCR.
The test of whether the staff scheduled wisely will b
e how well we perform in our MAC schedule.
