Just looking at the Ball State stats, which by the way, are presented in an easy to read format, they have 9 guys averaging 17 minutes or more a game and none averaging over 27. The one weakness I see is a 69% free throw shooting average. Their .334 3 point defense could be a problem for the Cats. I'm hoping the band and dance team will be in the house Saturday. Otherwise, just another ho hum crowd.
Pretty solid stats overall. They have some guys who can really shoot the three. Opponents FG% slightly under 40%. Assist to turnover ratio over 1.00.
They have a couple of burly inside players in Calhoun and House, but Bradley transfer 7-1 Nate Wells hasn't been an impact player yet.
As the Messenger article pointed out, Ohio will be challenged to defend the three.
