I've seen this squad in person and watched them a few other teams. They're not horrible and I feel like they're underachieving this season. I like a few of their main guys (Wilder, Avery, Haymond) and they have a 7-foot freshman in Seth Dugan that I think usually comes off the bench and is tough.

That said, I'm thinking Campbell has a big night. We need a W at home and he's our best veteran player. Would LOVE to see Jaaron have a big night against Wilder.

OUr defense is the key. I'd like to see us capitalize on big defensive plays (Setty steals, Wadly blocks, etc).

This one NEEDS to be a win. Two tough road games follow, and then three in a row at home. Winning all of the home games in that stretch, and keeping things close in the conference is still possible. It starts with defending the home court against Western.

Depends on where you live. In the Columbus area it's on Channel 7. For other areas, go here http://americansportsnet.com/schedule / then type in your zip code and click on the game to find out what station in your area should be carrying it. Then you'll need to check your DTV guide.

Is it a "must-win"? For Phillips, it's not.

But until it's tournament time and your season is truly done, if you lose, then you should be able to overcome any setback."

We're 1-3 in conference play, we are at home and Saul says the above???? I disagree with him ... going to 1-4 at this stage and I think 2 road games coming up and things could get real ugly IMO.

Coach is correct. He is into the process of building a winning program and it is not going to happen over-night. Some people do not like to hear this, but it is the truth. This is a distance run, not a sprint. It will take time to get players and to develop players. Patience is required.

Van, that's a good perspective to take in the grand scheme of the program, with this exception: The seeding process of the MAC Tournament has changed so much. Ending up this season as a #9 seed as we were in 2010, would make it very, very tough to advance.

To this year's team, the importance of getting a good seed is far greater than it was in 2010 if they have the goal of a MAC title. In my eyes, a top 6 seed is almost required if we're operating under the same format as last year's MAC Tourney. Falling to 1-4 with a home loss obviously isn't the way to get one of those higher seeds.
