13 minutes Saturday night for Jazz. 2 points (1 of 3 from the floor), 5 assists, 4 rebounds, 0 turnovers.

JP averages on back-to-back nights (split for Jazz): 2 pts, 3.5 assists, 3 reb, 0.5 turnovers in 12.5 minutes.

Jazz played without 6th-man star Clarkson both nights and without starting pg Sexton the 2nd night.

Also of note, JP had a +4 point diff in a game they lost by 20 in one game, and a +6 point diff in the other which was the best on the team. Man I really hope he finds a way to get a sustained chance to be in the rotation.

I tried to look into this last night when I saw Jay had another triple double by the end of the 3rd quarter, and was unable to find an answer. I'm curious what the G League single season record is for triple doubles. My google skills have apparently deteriorated.

Jazz are out of the playoffs. I was excited to see JP play against OKC (I'm an OKC fan) especially after he played good early minutes on Friday. Game was close but JP played garbage time when the game was basically over. Still awesome to see him get some run.

I think Jason is to be commended for taking his game (one fan’s (me) opinion) over the past couple of years from my “hoping he’s with the team tonight”, to “hopefully he gets into the game”, to “maybe he gets in the game”, to where I think he is now…”maybe he should be regularly getting some significant minutes”. Maybe that’s not necessarily with the Jazz since it seems like the PG numbers are often good. However with their recent team results one might think they’d be receptive to trying something (someone) different.

He was on the Jazz roster last night, but was a DNP-CD. I think the G League season is wrapping up relatively soon, so maybe Jay will be up with the Jazz for a few more games.

Been through this on the recruiting trail, I just can’t figure out what the anchor is on him, he produces, he’s a gamer, he’s a great story, and he he more he produces it just doesn’t matter.

JP is playing on ESPNU in a single elimination playoff game. TV guys raving about JP. He looks like he’s put on some weight.
Overall the game sucks. Terrible basketball. Looks like a pick up game at Grover.

6 minutes of quiet action last night, just 1 assist and 1 missed shot. But led the team with a +8 in a blowout loss. He is at a +15 on the season, 2nd on the team.

Just 3 games remain.

In Utah's penultimate game, JP plays 18 minutes with a +8. JP didn't shoot well (1 of 6 for 2 pts), but added 6 rebounds and 2 assists with 0 turnovers. Jazz end their season Sunday at Golden State.

Lofton looked good again 7 points, 6 assists.

Wonder what they do for next season? Might find himself part of a draft night package.
