Is it too crazy to say the winner of this game will win the CBI? BANG what a big time, outside-the-box prediction!

Seriously, so long as Ohio's head is in the game and the players actually want to play it, I think Ohio wins. And I hope you guys are right about a fairly decent crowd. I note the Ohio St.-Akron NIT game drew under 5,000 fans.
And that from an SMSA with over a million people AND the largest university in the state. We're way ahead on percentage of population attendance. Hoo Hah!
If Ohio had hosted an NIT game vs. OSU. How many tickets get sold? I say 10,000 +
Full House! Period end of story!

Wouldn't be a full house if there was that game and the pope, Bernie Sanders and Elvis showing up.

Up 77 - 74 with 3 seconds left and no foul? What was Saul thinking?

Albany put up a good fight. Congrats on the win. Best of luck the rest of the way. Really sad for our three seniors.

Congrats on the win and good luck going forward. Two evenly matched teams, tonight you outlasted us.

Enjoy and good luck the rest of the way.

Singletary is a player! Glad I only followed the game on ScoreCenter so I don't have a visual memory of that 3 he hit for OT.

Game ball to Treg Setty.

UNC Greensboro next. I'm hopeful to not get an introduction to the inner activities of the UNC system between now and the game ;).

You wouldn't have even seen it if you watched the feed since the cameraman missed it.

If Ohio host Ohio State I do think we would have over 10,000! That would bring the fans out.

Between webcasts and live TV I watched every OU minute this year. Is anyone as confused as I am as to why Khari played 14 minutes and Treg 8 and Laster 4? I literally have no idea why Harley was all of a sudden the 6th man on this team? I hope we don't have questions heading to next year.

Ri was the BEST off the bench - period. Glad he hung in there and was ready to contribute. No clue where dat Treg 8 comment comes from........

I'm all for more games if the kids want to play and I'm aware of what the extra practices/games have led to the following season for some teams. It was an exciting game for the few that came to watch. But honestly, I'm not sure what we learned that we didn't already know going into this game. Not sure what you're expecting to alter within two days of your last game? Happy as I am about the victory, this game reconfirmed my concerns moving forward:

1. SP has no confidence in his bench. Despite saying he would expand the rotation, the bench (with OT) played a combined 37 minutes with Taylor (8 min), Wadley (3), Block (8--is he hurt?), Laster (4) and Harley (14). SP had to quickly reinsert the starters every time this 2nd group let things start slipping. The 5 starter meanwhile each played a minimum of 35 minutes each.

2. We need a playmaker at the #2 or #3 moving forward. Treg was amazing tonight, but guess what, he's leaving. Whose filling in that role and God-bless him that he improved this year to accept that role. Dartis had some nice drive to the bucket, but we need a slasher/attacker/rim attacker. This roster had one tonight, but he's the only one and he's leaving.

3. Related to point #1, even though he had a couple nice buckets and some extended minutes, I don't ever envision Harley contributing to a MAC Championship caliber team. Hate to call him out, but as much as we've waited, I just don't see it. We need to add toughness and he's the opposite of that. I hope I'm eating this comment this time next year.

If we want to contend next year we either need some vast improvement from one of the current non-starters, or a few of the guys who don't have a future with this team to transfer and to fill those spots with a JUCO or two to finish off Tony's and KK careers while we have them. I think with Carter and Company, we have enough young prospects to groom. Need some instant parts that can hit the ground running ASAP--if those exist and are available to us I wish we fill a vacant scholly in this manner.

We do need a consistent wing playmaker to complete this team.

The guys that will be playing those roles next year were freshman this year. They will get better.

I am confused as to why you think Treg played 8 minutes.

Khari was clutch, no doubt about it. Great to see out of him. That kid can stroke the jumper, and I had zero concern when he went to the free throw line late.

With all due respect to Saul, in his post game comments he said you could tell we wanted to be there. In the first half, I'm not so sure. I'm not sure I have ever seen a more disinterested group, a dead Convo, just zero energy at all in the building. The second half seemed to be a different story, and I hope that kind of energy is for 40 minutes on Monday. Good win, but the game should have never been that tight at the end.

I thought the same thing. In fact, with the way Saul was substituting and the loosy-goosy ways things we going I was thinking that Saul wasn't all that interested in winning. It almost seemed like a pickup game. Tony looked drunk the first ten minutes. No, I'm not saying he was. He normally has flypaper hands but he couldn't catch the ball. Treg got a 3 second violation because he walked slowly out of the lane after passing to the corner. Just a bunch of little things. I don't know if it was competitive spirit or Saul getting their heads in the game but that changed in the second half.

I actually thought Harley looked decent, a little rusty but good effort. Wadly is the one that is lost, couldn't hit a basket if the rim was 8' instead of 10'. He just looks like he wants to run away from the ball so he doesn't have to shoot.
