Listened to Mike and Mike this morning arguing over the winner. Questioning the contest and arguing the winner NOT being a true sportsfan. I had to laugh as they made jokes about "probably still thinks the Oilers are in Houston", especially funny since that is Drags new home...

I had to send them a letter that in all the years that Dragon was here he was not only in the forefront of the OZone, he also showed a large accumen and many opines toward sports on all fronts from Tennis to FB/BB. N0t sure if there was any of my persuasive speech writing showing through, but I felt compelled to let them know that he was not a hermit survivalist that hates sports
I'm sure mike and mike were offended by the very concept since their show is nothing more than a four-hour infomercial for the nfl.

I wish they could replace Mike & Mike with Jalen & Jacoby. I also wish ESPN hadn't moved LeBatard to middle of the work day from my evening commute, though Bomani Jones isn't bad.

Completely agree with DFC, how many times can they rank NFL Quarterbacks before it gets boring?

Lebatard annoys me too. 90% of the show is him ridiculing his staff, they analyze their own performance of a talk show more than they do sports or anything else. I'm fine with the deviation outside of sports that he is so proud of, I'm not fine with the constant "wow stugotz did you really just say that you moron?"

Listening to ESPN is getting so tiresome. PTI is about all I can stand and that's probably because they move so fast from topic to topic instead of beating the death out of whatever straw man they invented for the day.

Splitting Lebatard and Bomani Jones up bummed me out. They were really fun when together.

Oh, if anyone wanted to know how I died: https://www.facebook.com/jeffreyscottfitzwater/posts/1010...

Thanks to everyone who has looked at the page. I'm well on the way to $500 now, and maybe even beyond that. We're expanding into more schools next year; nationally, we want to serve 2 million kids by 2020. 2 million!

I won't spam this, I promise, but here's the link again: http://donate.playworks.org/jsf

Got a nice note of thanks from Jeffrey for the contribution to his campaign. As of this typing, he's still $178 short. Come on guys, show this fellow OU alum some love and support this very worthwhile program.

Hey, hey, hey - only $84 to go. Let's push Jeffrey over the top before the first shot on Thursday night. Thanks to those who have contributed so far.

OK - count me in...total is now $468. One more donation should put him over!

Thanks guys. Of course we could treat the $500 goal as a 20 win season with subsequent goals of a MAC tournament chmapionship and advancing deep into the NCAA tournament. In other words, keep on giving folks!

Hey! He raised his goal (which is still a little low imho),

The Goal is now $750 with $608 already pledged.

Let's all pitch in and help Jeffery make a difference!

Well the goal has been raised again to $1000 and Jeffrey is only $131 away. Before you start raking your old rotten winter leaves from the garden today, take a moment to nudge him over this latest goal.

OK folks we have less than 24 hours to tip off to raise an additional $131 to help Jeffrey reach his goal. 17 folks have contributed so far - 3 more at $50 each puts him over the goal. Pitch in and help out!

I'm in. Hoping it will salve his disappointment over the primary results.

Folks, I'm blown away by how much support I've gotten. It's hard to put into words how much it means to me- a lot, suffice to say.

I was hoping Houston Baptist would best UNC-G and host the 'Cats... oh well. I'll be watching Sunday and Monday.

Anyway, thanks again! Go Bobcats!

well folks, just like the big campaigns, big money has jumped into this contest and our guy Jeffrey has slipped to second. How about we trot out the Bernie Sanders model - lots of small pledges. 25 more folks giving $25 each would get him back in first place or at least close to it. Come on Bobcats - let's give it a shot.
