Why isn't Trent Jr. going to Western Carolina to play for the man that took the flyer on his dad in the first place? Where's the loyalty?

See how silly some of you sound expecting him to be a lay-down for Ohio?

+1
Let me bump that by 10.
Ha Ha! I have come to the conclusion that most of what is said on this board is silly! ;)

expecting that the child of a former star athlete or a child of a current member of the OU Athletic (or for that member, non-athletic) faculty owes us anything is ridiculous. Good luck Mr. Trent. Good luck Mr. Burrows.

And thank you again Mr. Trent, Sr. for providing me with the opportunity to watch you in person from the Ozone for 3 amazing years.

Regardless of where he ends up playing (only a matter of which blue blood program chances are) there's a decent shot Ohio may get some mentions while they showcase his background etc. both in those ESPN U types of shows and also while playing. There will probably be a few "Shaq of the MAC" references.

Will this be our first father/son situation where one of our former players had a son go on to what promises to be a strong D1 career and likely pro experience?
