If someone doesn't show up with a Robot Ham costume, I will be very, very disappointed.

I'd rather see something to make fun of the Jumbo Dog.

Sibs weekend, special promo in central OH schools, weekend noon tip...I expect a big crowd. And for once, I want to expect BIG noise.

And it won't matter - because Kron has better players than Ohio!

We may not want many recruits in the house for this one. I am not optimistic.

Still so bummed that Campbell is gone. Him with an emerging Carter could have been something else.

Can we get that Brazilian group back that energized the O Zone for the Toledo game?

I don't know what that is and Googling that and Akron is not a good idea.

I have not seen any official point spreads yet ( they are not out this early). I am going to guess that Akron will be spotting us about 6.5 pts.I say this even though we are on our home court. Based on recent games, I have to believe that I am close.
How many of us have the confidence to take the home team plus the points. Not me.

I'll take the Cats and 6.5 points. But I have one request. Can we front the post entry pass at times? Jason has shown himself to be adept at preventing lobs over top, can he roll off the high hedge and front the big whoever every now and then? Or as much as possible? What am I missing? We have been toast in the post when bigs catch it deep.

Too late for McHappy's to sponsor the game?

It's a shame we didn't get to see svelte Tony match up against Fat Dog this season. I was looking forward to seeing that matchup. I imagined their initial pleasantries on the court would go something like this:

I'd love to see an upset as much as anyone, but I don't think the Campbell-less Bobcats can beat this team, even if we get three tries this season. We don't match up well. I think they get us in foul trouble inside again and pound the rock.

Kron has had plenty of close calls, but I don't think its first loss comes against us. Hoping like heck I'm wrong.

LOL, seems our comments on the weight issues of a certain Akron forward have hit a nerve on the Akron board. Apparently, they feel that they've taken the high road all these years. That's unintentional comedy of the highest level. It would take me less than five minutes to find worse comments on their board. The Hipsher family says you should always take the high road.

On a serious note, SuperSize Dog is a skilled player. He can shoot, great passer...can you imagine if he were in shape? It's a little shocking to me that the training staff up there never got him in shape in 4 years.

If I wanted to really strike a nerve, I'd inquire about how Akron's NCAA tourney win total and Big Dog's favorite food are one and the same: donut.

maybe if they didn't saddle the kid with a name like "Big Dog" he would have been more motivated to get in the gym and develop his body. Seems like a waste of talent.
