It certainly is. Once you pass Martin's BBQ, you're almost there.

But he will end up at a BigTen/ACC/SEC type destination or turn pro and spend a couple of years in the G-league before being full-time NBA. He'll probably make more $$$ on NIL this next season than he'll make in the G-League at first.

The old high school listings floating around that say 6-7/190?
He's more like 6-10/250 now. Prototype NBA power forward.

He looks like he fits the BVP mold a little bit, but agreed it doesn't seem he fits a need. He and Clayton would both be inside/out guys.

That was my exact thought. He would allow us to play bigger, since he his ability to hit the 3 could allow him to slot into the 3. But to your point, it doesn't seem like an obvious fit.

Yeah, 4.6 rebounds per 40 minutes is pretty paltry. He seems like he'd be an upgrade on Cornish, but that doesn't seem like where we should be focused unless others are leaving.

This would be another former 3 star without much college PT scenario. I've seen him listed as an SG as well.

Given the extensive list of Nordin's options, I don't think we'll land him anyways.

We’ve contacted EJ4’s former Brush teammate Antwone Woolfolk from Rutgers. Not a ton of stats but had 9pts and 9 reb against Nebraska. 6’9 -- we've had success reuniting former teammates.

He might be Shereef Mitchell insurance. Not that anything has happened on that front yet. But I suspect if you're Coach Boals, you're going to at least make contact with some potential replacements, so that there's some sort of relationship rekindled should you actually need to pursue the player, instead of starting from scratch when other teams have already recruited them.

Assist numbers don’t scream PG and 3PT % doesn’t scream 2 guard. Almost seems like another EJ4. Same height and lbs heavier with most of his damage coming from 2PT range.

It seems like we’ve contacted more stretch forwards and combo guards than bigs/PG’s so far.

Stats don't blow you away, but he looks like a solid contributor and body (200+ lbs on the wing is a good thing). He just dropped 19 on 8/10 shooting against Ohio State in the NIT.

While there is nothing really wrong with MTSU (except it has no fan support), Murfreesboro TN in and of itself is like the "Walmart" of Nashville suburbs.

Maybe living there is not his steaming cup of sunshine.
