Parity or no parity, the quality of MAC basketball is a small
fraction of what it was in the 1990s (for multiple reasons
already discussed on BA). It's not getting any better in the
near future.

And the 80's for that matter. One and done's are certainly a contributing factor - the better talent gets bumped up a notch.

Another contributing factor is the increased number of teams in D1.

According to the Athens Messenger Tony's appeal was denied. Oh well....building for the future. Injuries are unfortunately a huge part of sports. Quality depth takes the bite out of blue chip losses but can never be replaced .
