Is this on ESPN3? The website doesn't say so and I can't find it on ESPN3 when I do a search.

The MattSarz site shows it on ESPN3: http://mattsarzsports.com/Schedule/Weekly/basketball201718/4#.Wh8TaVWnHIU

Regarding this game - I'd posted I have extra's if anyone is interested. My holiday gift to you if you can use them (and I can get the ticket office to reprint them).

My best FakeJeff take:

This team is loaded with talent. Their new coach, Juan Dixon, is a legend is his own right. Watch out for Tre Thomas shooting the lights out from three-land. And, watch out for graduate transfer, Karonn Davis. His maturity and savvy are awesome. They've been getting better as the season has rolled along. Their last game was only a three-point loss to the vaunted Central Connecticut team. They are on track to play their best game of the season against the Bobcats. This is, without a doubt, the best 0-6 team in the country. Don't take the Eagles lightly. This will be no easy win. Stay focused OHIO!

They've played a brutal schedule, and considering our lack of depth and inability to defend, I'd say this is no sure thing.

Other than playing them all on the road it hasn't been that brutal. Obviously playing Oregon, UC and Rutgers on the road is tough but ECU, Cleveland State and Central Connecticut are all 250+ in KenPom and they lost to two of those three by 20+. That being said you are correct. Our D in its current form has the potential to keep any team close.

Have not yet checked out their roster - despite the accolades for our "Big" inside D vs Iona - I saw the inside "Big" D to be very suspect - Do we have an edge there or not?

Their starting five run 6'2", 6'2",6'3", 6'5", 6'6" so we'll have size advantage for once, particularly if Carter comes back.

The announcers for the Iona game also said the game was on ESPN3, I just hadn't seen it anywhere.

this is a must win game for ohio. they need momentum going to the Maryland game which has potential to be a blowout. they can win this game if they stay focused and avoid turnovers and make foul shota

Must win? What makes you say that? At this juncture is any game prior to January 2nd really a must win?

I think Fuss was much better at finding the games cs the lower conferences that involved teams that the top of the conference or possible tournament qualifiers

Yeah, don't mind sprinkling in Southern, Mt. St. Mary's, and Iona. Coppin State, Alabama AM, Maryland Eastern Shore on the other hand.

Juan Dixon has his work cut out for him. I didn't see a single D1 set of hands or a single D1 shot on that roster.

They had one guy I'd say was good enough. That's it. Forget the name, but one of thier guards was okay. The rest I'm with you on.

With apologies to Joe Green saying they played a "brutal schedule", that was an awful team. I think some SEO high schools would give them a run. Possibly the worst college team I've seen in person, and that counts exhibitions vs. D2/D3 schools.

#10, don't know the name, had a decent shot. He also got T'd up - I think he was frustrated and didn't appreciate the second or third time that Kirk flexed his muscles after a rebound or put-back. He let Kirk know so in some fashion that the ref felt required a T.

On another note, Gollon looks very active on the floor, especially on the defensive boards. Seems to be in the right position and gets his hands on a lot of misses for a 6-4 player.

It's ok for this team, with these injuries, to have this kind of game THIS YEAR. If we have everyone back who is supposed to be back next year we have to schedule a better group of teams. But this was nice. 15 minutes for Dozier. Gollon played huge and is only getting better. Mickle in double digits. Butler playing the most minutes. Kirk with eight boards. Great team game.

Which begs the point...why was Jaaron allowed to dribble out the shot clock for 25 seconds last year so much? I know he was very good off the bounce but Block and Laster are showing what can happen with ball movement. Just feel like Saul sold out for a 5-8 guy who stiffed us for Michigan anyways.

Final note, Ryan Taylor is tearing up this year...what if...how nice would he be on this team?

They're bad but they also have a sh*t schedule. They have yet to play a home game. In an 11-day stretch they played at Oregon, at ECU, at Cincy, at Cleveland St, at Rutgers, and at Central Conn. Granted, they had a ten-day layoff before tonight's game but being seven games into the season without a home crowd must really suck. Next they go to G'town before finally getting a home game vs Navy.

Karonn Davis and he sort of looked the part but he can't shoot a lick. His shooting percentage this year is 30.8 and he's shooting 23.5 from 3.
