Looks like Toledo likes to shoot the 3 - over 25 a game and they make 40% of them. Heavy minutes (over 30) for several of the starters. Easy prediction - team that makes the most 3s wins this one.

What is that equivalent to 60% from outside the paint 2pt shooting? I don't think I've ever heard of a jump shooter doing 60% from 2 before. Around the rim clean up guy sure.

I don't mean to be a caricature of myself but the weather forecast is deteriorating. I'll research road conditions on SR 32 about 430 before deciding whether to make the trip.

Anyone go up or down 33 Monday? Wondering what it’ll be like. Thanks

Based on my drive in this morning, and the current 6 degrees outside making the thawing on the roads slow, I'm gonna watch this one from home. I sure as heck hope this crap is off the roads by next week. If anyone needs a spare or three, PM me and I'll see what the ticket office will do to help us out.

It's 14 here in Athens with a windchill of 4. We got about 2 inches of snow in town on the east side. We're under a level 2 but that takes into account all of our back and hilly roads. Guys like SBH would probably say "what snow" but the further south you get in the state the bigger deal a little snow is. Anyway, I'll post an update around 3 this afternoon.

I wasn't aware roads would be an issue. Was planning on coming down 35 to 32. Please advise.

I've only been on 33 from state street then out 32/50 to albany. The roads were fine there. Side streets in town were pretty bad and its been snowing non stop for a few hours so it might be worse.

Don't miss many games but live 65 miles west. Our county went on level 3 at about 2pm. Guess i am out.

So a drive from Dayton would be ill-advised? Need to know as I'm getting ready to leave.

I think if you come on 35 and then 32 (not through McArthur on 50), you'll be fine. The major roads seem to be cleared fairly well, at least as far as I can tell from here. It is snowing very lightly now, here in Athens. Might want to call the Highway Patrol and ask them about road conditions.

Gonna be lucky to have 2K at this game tonight is my guess. Going to be hard to get the students from watching Netflix in their dorms to get them outside in the cold and walk to the convo.

No wonder our crowds blow. Toledo knows exactly what they want to do on offense and they make it happen. We, on the other hand, have to over-exert ourselves just to get a halfway decent look.

Toledo has offensive weapons all over the place. They not only have a great perimeter game, but a big man underneath. It makes me wonder if Saul has underestimated what it takes to compete in the MAC. Who is our go-to guy, if any? What exactly are our weapons besides our defensive game, which is sorely lacking by halftime tonight. While I am enjoying watching Toledo play, I don't see anything hopeful about this Bobcat Basketball program right now.

This is making our 25-point loss at CMU look like a nailbiter by comparison.

I agree 100%. Ask yourself this question, do you feel better about where the program is now versus how you you felt at this point in the season during season one? I contend season one...we knew Kenny and Jaaron were coming, Tony was developing, and the incoming class seemed functional. What do we know now? No road map to success that I can see. Uninspired defense, an ill-functioning offense, and players that are regressing. This hurts.

This is a sad state of affairs. Saul had a first year of dysfunction then a surprise 2nd year. I felt like last year was a letdown after we played great all year. This year we showed fight and promise in Charleston and against WKU. Now we are disjointed and appear to have given up. I can see Butler and/or Kirk leaving out of frustration.

Thirty points down. It is time to bring in some of the football players in attendance to see what they can do; perhaps, they can now randomly pick fans as part of fan appreciation night. Ridiculous.

The scoring droughts are just incredible. Where's the consistency? Play great against Kent State on the road in a nail biter, then come home and get absolutely blown out? Ohio should never lose this bad at home.
