This has happened repeatedly. I mentioned it on twitter during the Ball State game.

It is a recurring error that puts me in a foul mood.

I'm brave enough to be emo here. It makes me feel like we don't matter. Like our team is not worth full attention and respect. Like the broadcaster doesn't care.

And you can tell me for days that the person regrets the mistake, and that they were raised with a different phrase at the tip of their tongue, and that those words do not correctly illustrate who they are; but I know damn well what I feel.

I feel diminished. And I get enough of that in real life.

Turn up Russ and Rob. It's worth the difficulty.

With all respect to Marty and Toni, I try to sync the ESPN3 with Russ & Rob for most games I'm not at personally. I've listened to them for so long, it's just part of a game. At the very least, I grab the pre/post game shows.

And believe me, neither Toni or I take that personally. Those guys are good, and they've been with you for awhile and you are comfortable.

Everyone's comments are appreciated, and duly noted....

And the only reason I do so is the reason you noted. I listened to you two in the second half a few weeks ago, and as well, your work on those occasions you're on the radio.

For the record, while I like Russell and Rob, I prefer Marty's style of calling a game. This is, of course, a matter of personal preference. I listen to WXTQ and Russell and Rob for virtually every home game as I have a radio with me at the games. So, I certainly am not adverse to their style either.

It is almost silly how much broadcast talent we have in the Convo.

You're not implying we have more talent in the broadcast booth than we have on the floor are you?

Oh, Swabbie McSquid...your wife should have redmarked your post:

Very glad for all that we have - Michael Reghi was awful last night. He kicked it all off when he said the Saul replaced Groce at Ohio...

His greatest hits continued when he referenced "Jordan Simmons" leaving and noted that Doug Taylor was in his senior year.

Reghi fan, here.

However, he was not on the top of his game last night. Remarked that Block is Ohio's sharpshooter (although, based on last night he was) and that Laster was an All-MAC player last year.

Glad I was not the only one who had to reread that a couple times.

He was feeling the effects of having the stitches tightened on his rug before tip-off.

Thanks for the good proofreading, Rice Paddy Grunt. I guess you had a lot of time to read your Websters in that foxhole.
