This is probably the most important credential for a prospective transfer that I think I've ever read on any board anywhere. If we could only recruit a starting lineup with five skilled tweeters I think we'd be destine for the Final Four!
Volume of posts might be an unlock we haven't considered!
You certainly are thinking out of the box here recently. The insights one gains on this board are something you just can’I find anywhere else! ;-)

Who actually wants Conners back? By all accounts, he was a role player who couldn't beat out Sheldon for more minutes. Hard pass.

A little strange that CMU is the only school without any portal entrants so far.

Did he get a fair shot? Given his past record at App State he was a better 3-point shooter than Sheldon. Nah, that can't be. Coaches never play favorites, do they?

I said as much during the season that he probably didn't get enough PT to prove himself, but then again why waste the effort on a somewhat known commodity. That's a big gamble to take on someone you hope returns to their former self.

Hearing Kyler D from Alexander High is coming home. The kid can shoot it for sure. Scored a bunch in Indy and at West Liberty D two before that. This move will help attendance and this player is capable of scoring. Not a bad move.

Some Info on KDA:

- 21/3/3 vs Ohio State earlier in the season. Just 1 turnover.
- 27 points and 5 rebounds vs Cleveland State
- Averaged 26 in two games vs Wright State
- 28 points, 6 assists vs Robert Morris

Voted Third Team All-Horizon
18.5 points per game

119.2 Offensive Rating - would've been 3rd on OU last season (Jack and Simmons were both 120)
120.2 Defensive Rating - would've been #1 on OU last season (Jack was a distant 2nd)

39% from 3 - Would've been #1 on OU

Has a 30 pts / 5 rbs / 5.5 ast / 2 stls split per 100 poss.

High School: First-team All-Ohio... ranked among the leading scorers in the state at 27.9 points per game his senior year... leading scorer and Team MVP in the North-South All-Star Game. (Roster included Dailyn Swainn - averaged 17 at Texas last season)

Really excited to have him (back) in Athens County. All his numbers place him at what would've been at the top of our roster last season among nearly every single category. Really impressive stuff if he can continue that here. Got a good one to hopefully replace Jack.

An important note on this, defensive rating is the inverse of offensive rating. A 120 offensive rating is very good, but a 120 defensive rating is not good. Offensive rating breaks down things on a per 100 possession basis. So a 120 offensive rating means that the team scores 120 points per 100 possessions with that player on the floor. A 120 defensive rating means that a team gives up 120 points per 100 possessions with that player on the floor. A net rating is then offensive rating + defensive rating and is a very loose measure of overall impact. So a 125 Orating and a 120 Drating = a 5 net rating.

This is in no way to say Kyler is a bad defender, just to explain that Drating does not mean higher = better. The defensive rating HEAVILY reflects the style of play at IUIndy, where they played very uptempo, fast basketball, that naturally gives up a lot of points per possession with the goal of just outscoring the other team. He won't be an elite defender, but he'll be solid. Overall a VERY good get who actually ranks as a better get than Simmons was last year according to EvanMiya.

How does Elmore have eligibility?

From WMU I would be interested in Jalen Griffith (5-10 PG, 12 ppg, 41% from three) and Max Burton (6-10 240 with one year left, had better production than Breath)

Also all-state in soccer; leading career scorer at Alexander in both sports.

Yea, there's definitely a team component that can impact a player's individual Drating.

Breath had a 96 Drating in his final season at UNCG. Which is outstanding. His Drating with us was 112.

Huh? He has played 123 games over 4 years, starting at least 15 each season. The most open and shut case of a 4 year player done with his eligibility.

Depends how good his lawyer is. Never underestimate the ability of the NCAA to lose a court case.

He does everything that we need other than one thing… making FT’s. Dude couldn’t throw it in the ocean if he was standing in the beach.

Maybe. Some places with lots of $$ are getting decimated with defections.

Kansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Oregon, Georgia, etc

Had two games of 0-5 at the line and some games over 80% and one of 100%

Free throws. 90% is in your head and the other 50% is mental.

He's also British, not sure how that factors in these days. If we have some sort of limit on sponsoring F1 visas (fairly cheap, but who knows).

And NOT from Europe, another Dayton guy (Notre Dame) is suddenly in the portal.

This one is NOT a far fetched possibility... (6-10/240)
