Just want until the season starts. If you think there's angst about Jim Christian, you ain't seen nothing yet. With completely unproven pitching, we could be in for one loooooong season.
If that ends up being the case, it will be because of the recruiting of the previous staff.
Sorry if my salutation sounds condescending or classless - that is entirely not the intent. Once again - the screenname thing really rubs me the wrong way. Not just you, but everyone. That's why these are toxic most of the time. But it's easier to take shots that way. But anyway, I'd refer to you as 6-4-3 (or 4-6-3, what about 5-4-3? Or, maybe 3-6-1? That's the one that doesn't get the proper recognition...) in the future but regrettably I'm self-imposing a ban on my posts indefinitely beginning immediately. And, not to mention, I think it's silly to address someone as a type of double play.
I took your advice and reread your comment. I even quoted it above, and, I think you said "to move on" somewhere. I'd find it but I'm on a deadline here.
Just for the record, I'd never want ANYTHING at Ohio University to "crash and burn." I spent way too much time in that program and on campus to categorically dismiss any loyalty to it. That goes for my entire family as well - which began in Athens. To assume that some scrutiny directed towards a hire in some way would diminish my passion for OU baseball is ridiculously pretentious. I undertstand that change occurs all the time ("Without contrary there is no progression" - William Blake

). It's healthy.
I mean this...seriously - congrats on the job. Now do it. There are hundreds of former players and coaches counting on you.
With all due respect, stop worrying about what you cannot control. It's not advisable to troll message boards either. In addition, to start threads and then become passive agressive when posters don't do cartwheels, say, when new hats are unveiled. When you worry too much about what fans think you end up sitting with them in their seats.
Again, sorry if you misconstrued my sarcasm in posts. It won't happen again. Happy Holidays and Go Bobcats.
