ATHENS, Ohio – Ohio’s offense overcome a first-half shutout and the defense held on Miami’s final drive inside the 20-yard line, giving the Bobcats their sixth straight victory against the RedHawks in the Battle of the Bricks, 21-14, on Wednesday night at Peden Stadium.

Miami quarterback Zac Dysert was sacked by Mose Denton on fourth-and-10, putting an end to the RedHawks’ potential tying drive that had reached the Ohio 14-yard line with 1:19 remaining.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Matt Weller’s fifth field goal of the game, from 23 yards out as time expired, gave Ohio a 29-28 victory at Bowling Green and the Mid-American Conference East Division championship for the third time in six years on Wednesday night.

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Ohio ran the ball 62 times for 309 yards and finished with more than 500 offensive yards for the third game in a row while ending a four-game losing streak to Central Michigan with a 43-28 victory at Kelly/Shorts Stadium on Wednesday night.

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – A week after playing a run-heavy offense, the Ohio defense will have to adjust to facing a pass-first offense when the Bobcats travel to Central Michigan on Thursday night.

ATHENS, Ohio – Tyler Tettleton scrambled and threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to Donte Foster with 1:41 remaining to give Ohio a 35-31 victory against Temple at Peden Stadium on Wednesday night.
