Boo Jackson took over for an injured Theo Scott in 2008 and went on to have one of the best passing years in Ohio history. He set single-season school records in TD passes (19) and total offense (2,688 yards). His 60.5% completion percentage and 2,355 passing yards were the second highest signle-season totals.

After having shoulder surgery in 2009, it was Jackson who watched as Scott took over the controls. The senior from Gardena, California is back in 2010 to try to reclaim the starting QB job.
