Ohio won its sixth straight home game as it was able to hold off Akron 83-79 Saturday afternoon. Jaivon Harris had 22 points to lead five Bobcats in double figures. Delvar Barrett scored 16, Sonny Troutman added 12, Terren Harbut 11 and Thomas Stephens finished with 10. Derrick Tarver had 29 points to pace the Zips (11-11 Overall, 5-9 MAC). Ohio (9-14, 6-7) now steps away from the friendly confines of the Convocation Center when it visits Miami Wednesday night.
