For the first time in school history, an ACC team will visit Athens when Virginia (14-11 Overall, 5-8 ACC) takes on Ohio (9-14, 6-9 MAC) at the Convocation Center tonight. It marks the third time these teams have met with the series tied 1-1. In 1994, the Bobcats beat 14th-ranked Virginia in Charlottesville on its way to the pre-season NIT title. The Cavaliers would gain revenge with a 90-71 home win in 2000. Tonight's game is the fulfillment of that home-and-home agreement.
