Ohio could manage just two points in overtime falling 76-73 to Eastern Michigan Wednesday night at the Convocation Center. In a pattern that has become familiar this season, the Bobcats (8-13 Overall, 5-8 MAC) once again allowed a second-half lead to slip away. OU led 66-61 with 6:06 remaining but would get just one field goal the rest of the way as the game went into OT tied at 71. The road win for the Eagles (11-11, 5-8) was their first of the season. Ryan Prillman led four Eagle in double-figure scoring with 19 points. Michael Ross finished with 14, Steve Pettyjohn 13 and Markus Austin 10. Eastern dominated on the glass with a 43-25 rebounding advantage.

Ohio had two players with double-doubles. Brandon Hunter recorded his ninth straight with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Jaivon Harris joined the club with 13 points and 10 assists. Steve Esterkamp added 17 points and Thomas Stephens finished with 13. The loss, following an uplifting win over Kent St. on Saturday, means the Cats still have not won consecutive games this season.
