Ohio shooting was as cold as the Dekalb weather as the Bobcats were routed 80-53 Wednesday night at Northern Illinois. The 'Cats (7-12 Overall, 4-7 MAC) managed to hit on just 25% (14-for-56) of their field goal attempts on the way to their second lowest point total of the season. Northern (13-9, 9-3) jumped out to a 21-6 lead, built a 16-point halftime margin and wouldn't let Ohio closer than 13 in the second half. Brandon Hunter recorded his seventh straight double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Steve Esterkamp added 16, all coming in the second half.
