Is it just me/my laptop? Why is the annoying new Romney banner ad on the right side of my screen view hogging half of my screen, and WILL NOT GO AWAY??????????

Could be your browser, but I haven't seen this one yet.  Every once in awhile I get one that won't close but F5 to refresh usually pulls in a different ad and fixes things.  We don't have any control over the ads which show up, other than telling them we don't want popup, fly out type of things...but sometimes they do get through anyways.

It's happening to mine, also.  It eats up half the page and it the first ad to do that.

The Romney ad is screwing up every page it shows up on.

I'll be so glad when this election is over.

Living in a non-swing state is lovely.

I cannot tell you how sick I am of the words "the battleground of Ohio."

Yes, but, outside of Washington DC, how many places could you go and see a sitting US President and the opposition party candidate both speak in the same afternoon.  One with The Boss and the other with Charlie Daniels alongside (all four of them have seen better days IMHO).  As long as you don't have to drive anywhere in this town tonight, it's pretty cool.
