Early AVCA poll has the Wildcats ranked 10th, 3-0, including a win over Michigan State. OHIO, an interesting collection of strong seniors and a whole bunch of inexperienced players, has shown signs of strength but still finding their way as they play a tough OOC schedule.

Live streaming tonight on WatchESPN at 7.

And our only home OOC games are this weekend, 2 Friday (LSU, Xavier) and Michigan Saturday.

And I say this understanding how overworked out SID office is...but now, let's celebrate by updating ALL the ladies' bios...some of which have not been touched for a year...

And the typeface for the OHIO VOLLEYBALL articles on ohiobobcats.com is so small. MAKE IT BIGGER EASIER TO READ.

We all have 168 hours in a week. It's how we spend that time that counts. One would think that on a national competitive level, the best team at OU would be treated with a little more respect than it is.

Wow, great win. So I guess we are really good after all. That sweep by Purdue had me wondering for a minute.

It really could have been a sweep. We let UK build a huge lead in the first set with a lot of service errors, allowing multiple aces, and overall miscommunication. Down 20-11 and then 24-17, we stormed back but just couldn't get that last point. We dominated the second set and controlled the momentum from that point.

Jaime is the focal point of the offense and can really attack from anywhere on the court. Her game is very similar to Lamberti's. Ashy was everywhere, and I thought Hord had a lot of right place/right time plays too. Also worth mentioning is the emergence of Ali Lake and Katie Nelson to replace Hannah Burkle's size and efficiency at the net.

This should be a dominant MAC team that now has the huge RPI win it lacked last season.

Not taking anything away from this win, but if Kentucky turns out to be that good, then it will be a nice win for the RPI. It's great to beat a team that's ranked #10 in the country in the second week of the season, but if they are #50 in the RPI by the end of the year, then it won't be that big of a win in the end. I hope the Wildcats are really good the rest of the year.

Like everyone else, it seems, Ohio Volleyball communicates more thru social media these days. To their credit, they did note that the KY match was available on WatchESPN or whatever it is.

If you are Twitter, Ohio Volleyball is worth a follow.

On the calendar in the lower right hand corner, there was no mention of WatchESPN or anything else. I went to the KY website, tried Watch, found out Time Warner doesn't pick up SEC stuff and listened to it on the KY radio.

Solid and gutty win. Let's look for a big crowd Friday against Xavier when the championship banner is unveiled.

It was noted on the preview of the game on ohiobobcats.com that it would be on WATCHESPN.com.

Thanks but it also needs to be/needed to be in the calendar section at the bottom right for the quick find by even the most casual reader.

To have watched it, though, you have to get SEC Network. I'm not sure how many available that is in Ohio.

Right you are UpSan and Time Warner, at least what we get her in Athens, doesn't carry it.
