Is Purdue that good or did we just have an off match or a little of both? Cats hit .050 for the match and .000 for the third game.

I was not there, but I listened to the first two matches of the Purdue match on their radio network. My completely uneducated guess is that it was mental or physical fatigue or both. Also, trying to replace Kelly's role on last years team is not so easy. On the bright side they out played Purdue for the majority of the first set, losing a heart breaker. They had a loud crowd in a small gym, and I vaguely remember hearing it might have been hot in their gym.
I hope the team can get a broadcast of the Purdue announcers, as they were very insightful in their compliments and criticisms of Ohio.
If the team can come back and beat either LSU or Michigan this weekend, I think we all will be thrilled with the progress of the team. it is great that such high caliber teams are coming to Athens.

LSU is bad this year. The 2 players that made them great last year are both gone and they have no identity. IMO, the Cats handle the Tigers in 3, maybe 4. The true test is Michigan. That will be a solid squad.
