Patiently waiting for the schedule to come out and was looking through some other school's schedules and found where we will be for the opening weekend.

Sept. 11 vs. Seton Hall 5:30 PM

If these are the only tournaments this year, we'll need to go 6-0 or 5-1 for any hope of rankings. No west coast exposure.

Sept.18-19 they go to Fort Myers Florida but I don't know who they all play.

I live in Cbus, my sis in D.C. Her daughter (my neice) played HS and JUCO vball, and my sis has become a huge vball fan. Unfortunately she's a huge PSU fan, sent daughter to their camps, etc. Ugh...like having someone in family rooting for the Yankees. Anywho, she's made a point of making sure she can stay with me during next year's tourney, since the day Cbus was announced as its location.

WOW, when was the last time we had teams like LSU and Michigan in Athens at the same time for any sporting event? They may not be the best in Volleyball, but what name recognition.

Since 2010, the Bobcats have had these types of teams in Athens for the tournament. 2012 was probably the best with Kentucky (10) and Oregon (17). With a facility like ours and a local hotel partner, this works real well and attracts big time talent to Athens.

Still remember that tough '09 2nd round NCAA tourney loss at Michigan, losing the 5th set 15-13. Payback time.

Superb! The women are in Nationwide and the men play at St. John's. The Columbus Sports group is doing a bang up job of getting high quality events in coming years.
