All I can say is somebody on this website likes us, as we are ranked ahead of each of the two other ranked teams that beat us (Purdue and Mich).

But I'll take it...

OHIO is a good example of how the different criteria used by the polls to rank teams can greatly impact where you end up:

Prepvolleyball has OHIO 18th as noted above

AVCA had us 30th last week, but after going 3-0, we are no longer listed

Kern has us 35th

Pablo has us 20th

Poll voters in any sport on any level are the worst. Too many of them don't do their homework. I think it is much more telling that individuals who put in all kinds of time looking at results and watching matches think more highly of the Bobcats.

San Francisco hasn't even played anyone in the top 35 or maybe even 50...yet are getting votes. Makes no sense.

My bet is that we got some osu votes by mistake.

Hopefully so, but it's also about how our opponents do. Case in point: 2 weeks ago we were 34th in AVCA, then won 3 matches but dropped out last week. Kentucky's win over Florida probably helped us get those 7 points this week.

Go OHIO
