Another big weekend for the ladies:

Seton Hall Friday at 5:30
The Hall is 4-2 (no significant wins) including 3 match sweeps last weekend at their home tourney. This included their 1st win ever in 19 tries against Notre Dame, a team seemingly not up to its regular competitive level. Cats should be favored here.

Utah Saturday at noon
The Utes are 5-2 (no significant wins) including a 15 win neutral court streak just being snapped. My guess is we should win if we play to our level but this one could be a challenge.

Louisville Saturday at 7:30
The Cards are 2-3, with all losses against strong Big 10 teams. They have beaten Fiami 3-1 and Big East champion Creighton. Surprisingly, they hold a lifetime 7-1 record against us. This will be a big challenge. Live video stream for $6.95.

Go OHIO.

Cats sweep Seton Hall 3-0. Louisville swept Utah 3-0 (Cats' next matchup).

Pretty well crushed Utah in 3: 16, 24 and 17. Might as well make it a clean sweep of the KY teams this year.

Oh well, tough one to lose.

It is all about the mental toughness to win the MAC tournament. Then maybe we can get a first round match against Florida State and kick their A$$.

I am frustrated by transfer rules, Erin Fairs who did a good job of destroying us, plays three years for South Florida, is all AAC as junior, then gets to transfer to Louisville for her senior year. Then plays right away. Kind of ridiculous that undergrads can transfer and play without having to sit for a year.

Disappointing that we did not compete better in the 5th set. Compliments to the ladies for giving us such high expectations. Maybe if we can get Brooke back, or Carley in a uniform, it will give us that extra whoop a$$ we need.
The rest of the MAC seems weak this year.
