Two nice sweeps this weekend. Hopefully we're setting up well for the tourney.

Great work Abby, Shelby, Meredith, Karin and Aubree. This team is gonna miss all five of these ladies!

Cats get the no. 2 seed and a double bye for the tourney. Will play either no. 3 seed Kent, Ball State or Buffalo Sat. eve in the semis at 7:30 in the Convo.

If the semis are on a Sat. night that is great. Last year, I believe they were on Sunday night, which when you are used to playing every Sat. could not have helped. I hope the double bye does not work against them, playing a tough team like Kent State after a seven day layoff is no picnic.

If so, that is unfair to OHIO and bad for the MAC.

That would be correct, Monroe. The 2016 MAC Tournament will be played in Dekalb.

It's unfortunate for Ohio, and it surely won't be as well attended at NIU, but the Huskies earned it just as the Bobcats have over and over in the past.

I wonder if they will have to play the tournament on the main floor of the Convocation Center and not in Victor E. Court due to the size.

I hope they use Karin Bull a lot and pound it down the middle. Sometimes I think we get too fancy, and over complicate the offense with passes that are difficult. Kind of like in baseball when the batter knows the closer is going to throw a fastball, but it still is not so easy to hit.
