Kent, a team predicted to compete for the title was coming off their biggest win of the season, taking down previously undefeated Miami. I thought they finally were on a roll and I was skeptical of Ohio's chances, but the Cats took charge, winning 3-1. The "Lake Effect" was prominent, as Ali Lake had a career high 19 kills. Erika Walker covered the floor (33 digs) and Simone Miller covered the air (3 solo, 4 assisted blocks).

Great job ladies! Central closes regular season Saturday.

Thinking a 3 seed. Miami beat NIU, so they have the tiebreaker for the 1 seed. NIU the 2 (obviously) and Ohio at 11-4 has the 3 seed. Pretty good for a team who had a slow start.

As for the 4 seed and lower.. Haha, it gets complicated with 3 teams at 8-6 in the MAC. This weekend will be crucial for BG, Ball State and Toledo (All at 8-6).
