I'm not very knowledgeable about volleyball even though I have attended numerous Bobcat games over the years.
Question for those more knowledgeable: what are we doing losing 3-1 to a very average Marshall team? I realize it was a road match, but I would view this as a match we should win.

Agree losing to Marshall is very troublesome. When you look at the roster there
seems to be an abundance of talent. Somehow the coach has to find a line-up
that plays greater than sum of it's parts (TEAM). The team also could use some junk yard dog too. Maybe a try Billy Beane's moneyball, analyze who is playing well in the clutch and give them more minutes. Sad what has happened in the last three years.

Tough, unexpected loss. But a worse loss is that of MAC Frosh of the Year and First Team All Mac middle blocker Tia Jimerson, to a left foot stress fracture. Out 4 weeks. She did not play against Marshall. Can't believe the tough breaks this team has had recently.
Let's start to turn it around in the home tourney this weekend.
