Thanks for sharing John. And congratulations on your new book, " A Hundred Fires in Cuba". Already heard an excellent early review of it. For anyone interested, there will be a book release Wed. Aug.16, 4:30-6:30 at Casa.

Also intra scrimmage match Sat. at 3 at the Convo. Come see this exciting team and view the new scoreboard too.

Many thanks, Stub. Yes, the book will be available next week. The launch party will indeed be at the Casa on the 15th---but that's a Wednesday, not a Thursday.

Now back to the business at hand. Looks like a great year coming up for the team, don't you think?

Definitely psyched for this season. This is a talented and deep team. Watched the Green and White scrimmage and everyone seems healthy, and they definitely added some freshmen talent. Coach Webb and and staff will have some difficult decisions because they can't play everyone. They are particularly loaded at outside hitter. Redshirting may be an option.

This Saturday, No.20 Pitt invades the Convo at 2 for a final exhibition. I expect to see a serious volleyball match.
