The coach's retirement announcement came out on 6/1.

According to a post on BA , "no one was off guard".

Since then there's been nothing but "radio silence" from the Athletic
Department and the A.D.

I believe O.U. still has to hire a Track and Cross Country Coach and make a decision on a new baseball coach.

Cross Country is a Fall sport,so time is kind of short.

Sorry,but the inaction on the part of the A.D. for not only volleyball, but
track,cross country and baseball doesn't inspire a lot of confidence.

My barber knew about Frank's hiring before the AD did, so I'd say you have a good source there, old rice paddy grunt!

Looking at several schools' volleyball schedules, they start their out of conference schedule in late August.

Maybe the A.D.'s intention is to promote the asst. coach, like she did last week with golf.
