I’m guessing that was set up before his retirement was announced. Being an AD sounds like a step up to me.

Looks like a challenge to keep them competing at a high level. Does he have some sort of connection there as a former coach or something?

Reading that they have won the NAIA Basketball Championship several years recently https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indiana_Wesleyan_Wildcats
and they just started a football program. Sounds busy.
