I don't follow too closely, but I check scores and stuff. Has the rest of the MAC really caught us? Personnel? Youth?

Edit: Forgive me ladies and coach Theis.

We knew this was going to be a down year.  I'm not worried because he have a really nice class coming in next year.

I'm just hoping we can develop an outstanding libero.  Haven't had one since Blackburn.

Coach Theis better do something,  because he is running out of Carlson's recruits. Can he build a program with his recruits?  Time will tell,  Hope he can get it together because the wheels are starting to fall off. Sue, Mandy, Meryl,  Michelle and Katie are not young players. Ohio should be doing a lot better.

We were just beat up by two teams playing their freshman. Coach seems to want to stick with the upper classmen and not try out the freshman.

Dragon, what makes up a good libero to you? One that dives all over the place and looks flashy or a more controlled player that gets to the same balls without having to tuck and roll everytime? I believe there is a possibility for a great libero in the future. Cats have to start being coached on defense too. Offense alone sure is not doing it.

Well, both, I guess.  We haven't had a consistently high-grading lib in a long time.  I'll take that to start off.

The wheels aren't coming off.  We're coming off a near Sweet 16 season.  Let's not sound the alarm yet.  Remember that Ryan runs a completely different system than Judas.  It'll turn around.

I think he has a libero now that just needs a chance. Plenty of experience at high level, high pressure situations. I am with you on "the wheels are NOT off the bus". I think this bus is going to go from the ugly orange school bus to a sleek custom coach!! :)

I agree with the Dragon here.  C'mon, let's show some class.  We have a great volleyball program at Ohio.  Let's not push the panic button and start blasting the coach (as I noticed on another thread) because of one season which doesn't match what we've done in the previous years.

I wouldn't be surprised to see this team make a nice run in the MAC tournament.
