This Friday at 7, our newly crowned MAC tourney champions take on Dayton, the highest ranked team to ever play in the Convo, according to Sue Jacoby's announcement at the basketball game. The Flyers (26-3) currently have a 21 game win streak, including an undefeated Atlantic 10 conference season and tourney. Mutual opponents include Pitt (both teams sweeping) and Western Michigan (they sweep, we're swept).

OHIO (21-11) is now playing its best ball and this should be an exciting match between two big time teams. Please come out to congratulate and support the ladies as they prepare for the upcoming NCAA tournament.

If #12 is the highest ranking team to be in the Convo, that would mean the previous highest rank was #13, when the Bobcats were #13 a few years ago.

That was depressing.

Dayton is a really interesting team.  Not that tall, not that fast, not particularly athletic, but they execute nearly perfectly.  Rarely out of position, made few mistakes.  They were almost metronomic.  Very accurate in their attacks.  I would call them the ideal overachieving team.

Second set was a backbreaker.  I think their spirit was broken when we couldn't get it.

Not that tall - three of their big guns went 6'6", 6'4", 6'2" and their librero was all over the court.  They were quicker and more athletic last night in my opinion.  Maybe all of the "bull horning" you did last night affected your vision Dragon.

You really needed to say that?  You couldn't have just disagreed?
