OHIO is going for its 7th MAC tourney title in 8 years. Doable but no easy task. Seeded 2nd because they won the East, they are tied with Eastern with the 4th best record in the MAC. They are playing against the strongest field the MAC has offered, mainly coming from the Western Division.

For OHIO to win it, assuming everything goes as expected (and that rarely happens), they would play Akron (series split), Western (0-3 loss at the Convo). then Ball State (2-3 loss in Muncie) for the championship..

OHIO is playing their best ball right now.  Friday at 7.
