That Miami team was the biggest bunch of whiners I've seen.  They complained about every call that didn't go their way.

Of course, they also were victims of one of the worst line calls I've ever seen.  Sue's attack was at least six inches out and it was called in.

Anytime we beat M$%^i in any endeavor makes it a good day for me.

Glad they were frustrated by their Convo experience. Hope we get 'em again in the MAC Tournament.

To be fair, there were a LOT of missed calls on both sides, and not only lines.  Double-hits, touches...  If that's the kind of game they were going to call they should have bought a ticket and sat in the stands (that wasn't meant to be bashing the officials, only to observe that they were a lot more passive than they should have been.  For all the missed calls, they didn't impact the outcome of the match).

That being said, I spoke with Miami's coach briefly after the match and told her, "See you in Toledo."  She said, "I hope we make it...we're very young."

Was glad to see our resilience, particularly in the third set.  We dug ourselves into a hole early but battled back.

How about a good crowd tonight for our seniors!!

It is always fun watching Ohio - Miami games. Good way to revenge for the Cats. Miami/BGSU are not strong this year, so the sweeps are expected for the two birds.

I hope the Cats can ride this energy to the MAC Tournie. I believe we can pull it off. Sue, Katie, Jantsch lead the team , set the tone and control errors. Nichols and Lexie have to keep pushing their limits.  I also like to see Ashley Jordan advance her leftie power which is special but still under utilized. She could make our predictable game plans more interesting.

Bad calls...  there should be a way to handle ignorant refs. I just watched the Asian Game Opening Ceremony and really like the part that a represent from all athletes and one from all refs pledged to be make the game fair.

Also credit to our defense that's looking better. Our freshmen 'twins' Kelly and Mollie, along with Meryl and Sue had great digs, helping to set up the offensive system.
