As BTC said, give him a few years, and I'll bet he'll have the Bobcats back in contention and winning post season games. He had some good years at O$U, finishing as high as 4th in the B1G twice, but some not so good years, finishing 9th and 10th in his last two years in Cowtown. We all know what he did at OHIO during his last gig here. I see no reason that he can't do that again. Perhaps, he's a better fit here because of his coaching style and the kind of women that he recruits. Maybe when he recruits "diamonds in the rough" and coaches them up, he's able to motivate thlem in a way that he can't with blue chip recruits. Back in the day, this was a problem that Jim Snyder had in basketball. He had trouble handling and motivating the blue chip players he recruited late in his career, but was exceptional with the under the radar guys that made him the legend that he became. Perhaps, that'll be true with Geoff. Time will tell, but my bet is that this will, indeed, be the case.
