Very interesting matchup even it it just a spring schedule, No home match ;(
Duke, Northwestern, Dayton rematched
Ohio State - previous vs current OHIO coach (without any players under Geoff's coaching) -- Katie and Nicole were recruited by Geoff right before when he resigned from OHIO)
Va Tech - a last year 2nd round NCAA team

Glad to see Ryan is shifting the gear up. I could foresee some interesting pre-conference teams this coming season.

Last week at Blacksburg the scores were 24- 26,  24 - 26 vs. Duke, 21 - 25, 17 - 25 vs. Wake Forest, 13 - 25,  25 - 20 vs. VA Tech, and 25 - 21, 19 - 25 vs. Liberty.  Played real strong against Duke, and held our own with the others.  Particularly since all of the other schools had been into their spring practice about twice as long as we had.

Don't know a much about about today (4/16), but understand in the afternoon vs. Ohio State we lost 2nd set 23 - 25, and won the 3rd set 25 - 21.

Sounds like we're playing fairly well against good competition, but it is always tough to judge based on what little info we get in the spring.  Should be another very talented team this fall, and I look forward to watching home matches via web stream (thanks, Evan et. al.!), since I won't be in Athens anymore.
