East Division Offensive Player of the Week
Kelly Lamberti, Ohio, Fr., OH, Cary, Ill.
Lamberti helped the Bobcats move to 6-0 in the MAC with wins on the road against Akron and Buffalo. She finished with a match-high 17 kills to go along with 10 digs in the road win over the Zips and followed that with a team-high 16 kills and 16 digs against the Bulls. The freshman leads the team with nine double-doubles this season after adding to her total in the two matches this weekend. Heading into the matches, Lamberti was sixth among MAC players in kills per set (3.20) and ranked sixth in points with a 3.89 average per set. In MAC play, Lamberti was fourth overall with 0.42 service aces per set.

The Ball State staff I saw at Subway already had her pegged as a threat. She is no secret weapon anymore.
