Ball St (considered a West Division contender) is 4-6 ... with losses to volleyball powers (not) VCU, IPFW, North Texas, Creighton, Tulsa and Northern Colorado -- none ranked nationally.  Western Michigan is 5-4 having played a much tougher schedule.  Western is picked to win the MAC regular season and post-season titles.  The Broncos lost to North Carolina and LSU on Saturday (NC match pretty tight) at NC invitational.  Cats play at NC later this week.  Hopefully, the results bode-well for a strong regular season and MAC tourney run for Ohio.  Cats are 12-0 in sets played vs. non-ranked opponents.  UNC Greensboro, NC and NC St. (all on the road in NC) remain prior to MAC play.  Go Bobcats!
