Congrats to the Cats on another great homestand!  With the next 4 matches on the road, an 11 match win streak remains intact -- most important.  Nice win over Miami in 4 and a sweep of BGSU on Senior Night.  Thanks for the memories ... Leah, Lexie and Faith!  With trips to Kent St, Central Mich, Akron and Buffalo remaining, the Cats will need to continue their team-wide consistent play.  Offense and Defense are clicking and the MAC team rankings show it.  Good luck Cats!  Bring home a MAC regular season championship (one step at a time)!

nice win at Kent.  Kinda wish they were now playing some of those ranked teams they lost to early in the season.  maybe they'll get that chance in a few weeks!

One more win to claim the regular conference title. A very well balanced team.

MAC regular season title still within reach.  Central Michigan played well enough to win and the Bobcats struggled at times -- but battled back after going down 2 sets to none.  Although the Cats were up 12-11 in set 5, Central ran off 4 straight points to win the set and match.  Home crowd was rowdy and most close calls went the way of the home team :)  Chelsea B. was sick (and it showed) and was not able to finish like she usually does.  Another week, another week on the road -- with matches at Buffalo and Akron (winning MAC record) so nothing promised.  BG closes with Northern Illinois on the road, so a loss there would be huge.  Go Cats!

If they end up tied with BG who has the tie breaker since they split?

Though not 100% certain, it appears Ohio wins the tie-breaker based on won/loss record in sets played (overall MAC).  Bowling Green has won 5 five-set matches in the MAC, while most of OU's wins have been sweeps ... and both are 12-2 overall.  Regardless, need to take care of business this weekend.  Buffalo and Akron will be tough on the road.  Need Northern to beat BGSU on Saturday night.  Go Cats!
