Next up, the Michigan Invitational ... with top 10 ranked U of M on the horizon.  Go 'Cats!

Awesome achievement pre-conference.  Keep building on the momentum!

No rest for the weary.

And I know nobody's left from that team, but that second round loss to UM still sticks in my craw. Would like a little redemption.

Am I to understand that we beat teams which were at one time this season ranked 8,17, and 21?

If so, 24 is kinda faceslap.

I think that's a reasonable argument Monroe. AVCA poll is an unscientific poll of coaches from all levels and all parts of the country. Surely many put much study and effort into the their polling but some apparently do not. (I've heard OHIO was not ranked at all by some of the pollsters while others rank OHIO higher.). Probably some pollsters are off base due to laziness, some to ignorance and some to politics, e.g., overrating the major conferences . Oregon was runner-up to the national champs last year and come from one of the major conferences, but based on performance so far, do they deserve to be ranked ahead of OHIO?

At one time, yes. But if you look at the poll now, the numbers are quite different.

It's not really important...we gots to take care of bidness and that will take care of the polls.

Nonetheless, Jeff, I prefer my facts to the facts which others may choose.
