Any news on her injury?  Is she out for the year?  If so, can she redshirt?

Had surgery earlier this week. Out for season. Torn ACL left knee, vs NC last week. Did NOT play in the WKU matches. Yes, eligible for a medical red shirt.

She will be missed ... All-MAC selection last yr + pre-season pick this season. 'Cats will overcome.

With proper rehab, should be back & better in 2014! Go Bobcats!

Sorry to hear that. Somehow she was initially listed in the Gametracker stats. Best wishes to her in the recovery process.

Unfortunate. She's a big loss. Hopefully we have good depth...

Team continues to play well and should crack the AVCA top 25 poll later today.  Liis has really stepped up (nice weekend at WKU) in Chelsea's absence.  With two sweeps over top 25 teams ... on the road no less ... Oregon and WKU ... and another sweep over formerly ranked Dayton (no. 17 in first poll), 'Cats deserve some love nationally.  Hate that Chelsea is hurt and out, but injuries happen each season and some are more severe than others.  Hopefully, she will be able to come back 100% ... and use a 5th year of eligibility in 2015.  The future remains bright for this team and program.

Ouch.  Though the medical community has come a long way when it comes to surgery techniques and recovery timelines, it is still pretty clear that a torn tendon is a big deal ... and takes time to heal;  inclusive of a lot of rehab and hard work.  Best wishes Chelsea!  All the best for a speedy and uneventful recovery!  You remain a Bobcat and the Bobcat Nation is rooting for you!
