Another very strong schedule, many high quality programs, with a great home tourney with UC, North Carolina, and Dayton. OHIO opens the season with a tourney in Eugene, concluding with a game against Oregon who played for the national championship last season. We played them at the Convo last year, and if memory serves me correctly, the Cats did win a set.

By no means an expert, but based on the fact that Theis A) took the team to Europe where they played some good competition, B) has a challenging spring schedule and C) has once again put together a tough nonconference slate for the regular season...

maybe coach thinks this team could be pretty good...maybe real good!
