The Flashes are 8-9 (2-2), 4-1 at home. They are definitely a team on the rise but if OHIO plays its game, we should roll.

The last time Kent hosted a top 25 team was in '07 when # 21 OHIO visited. Our assistant coach at the time, Don Gromala, is now their head coach.

We lost. 3-1. I wonder if we will drop out of the top 25 as a result.

I didn't think we'd run the table, but that's not a great loss.

Wow, what happened. Trap game in volleyball. It was a close match, but I don't understand what happened there. Totally unexpected. I guess we can't just show up and win.

Bounced back with 3-1 win at Eastern Michigan. Tied with BG for first place in the division. Big weekend at home coming with matches against top West teams Toledo and Ball State.

Stats pretty even vs Kent St, but seems "Cats failed to win big points late in the sets -- like they have done most of the year.  The road in the MAC is not easy and the "Cats are still young at key positions.  The loss of Chelsea (several all-MAC awards during her first two years) and her ability to change a match (get on a run) will be impactful during the 2013 season.  It is easy to forget how well she and Lambo played together (outside) in the past given the team's success this year.  Abby continues to put up big numbers and the team seems to have solid chemistry, so the bounce-back win at EMU was good to see.  Middles are playing well (lots of scoring) and the hitters are tough to defense.  Go "Cats!
