time to turn toward the RPI and keep a thread going.

NOt sure how the UT game ties into the final count.

Are we stillin a good position for an at large bid?

Anybody's guess, Borna, but I hate to leave a great deal to chance.  A couple of wins over larger conference teams earlier in the season will definitley help.  Beating Oregon, Western Kentucky....going five with North Carolina and Michigan...hard to ignore that.

Personal opinion, but I'd say that if we're playing on Sunday in the MAC Tournament, win or lose, I'd think we were in.

If we would happen to lose on Saturday, I still think there's a decent chance.

Barring a first round upset in the tournament, I think we have a strong argument for making the tournament.

Of course, my opinion, plus five bucks, might get you coffee at Starbuck's.

The two teams mentioned that we lost to will actually help the RPI more that the Oregon/WKU wins. WKU is 47 as of last week, 12 spots below us. Doesn't help. Oregon is 33, two above us, and beat Cal this weekend, so no huge bump there.

UNC and Michigan, at 26 and 29 respectively, will continue to help. Michigan losses don't drop their RPI because of the difficulty of their conference. Thankfully for UNC, they are only losing to the higher RPI teams in their conference as well (Duke, Florida State). I'm predicting OHIO's RPI goes up only one spot to #34 this week.

To be honest, the VCU match in Richmond after the MAC Tournament could be a big help if we slip up in the tournament, but I don't see that happening.
