This has worried me since Ryan left because last Fall, Katie's Dad mentioned how relieved he was when Ryan didn't get the Wisconsin position. 

A huge loss.

yes, this is a huge loss, but just from the few public comments the ladies have made, Coach Webb is a 180 degree change from Ryan in terms of personality.  More emotional and outwardly passionate.  I am sorry it doesn't work for Katie.   

On the other hand, I had some concern that the recruit loss would be Jaime K., who I believe is the star of the class.  From her twitter feed she seemed all-in, but you never know these days.  This is not meant to be a slam on Danielle, either. 

I hope both Katie and Danielle enjoy success elsewhere.

I've met Jamie and I could tell that she is every bit committed to Ohio University and not just Ryan Theis. I expect her to make an impact immediately.

Again, just like basketball and football, when there is a coaching change there is normally attrition from the roster and recruiting classes.  It's not necessarily a "lack of chemistry" thing...though that's possible.  Sometimes young people want to play for the coach who recruited them, or look elsewhere.

How quickly we forget sometimes.  The Cats will be fine.  In sports (and in life) you are either in or out.  In this case, a couple players elected to leave/decommit.  Unfortunate, but not unexpected.  Sometimes a player/student simply wants something they don't have ... Time will tell, but Ohio U. Volleyball will remain the class of the MAC!  Count on it.
