One at a time, ladies!

Can someone who knows (or even who doesn't!) preview these matches?

Akron has struggled a lot this season and we should take care of business there. Buffalo on the other hand is a really tough team and I'd expect a fight from them Saturday night in New York.

Cats win in four--second set slide seems to be formula. Website incorrectly shows Akron winning in four.

It was fun to be there. Great play. So glad we went. Did lose the second by four, but won the others by 7, 13, and 11, I think.

Okay veteran observers, how does this team look to stack up against other fine Bobcat volley ball teams of the last decade or so?

I don't think it's a stretch to call this team the deepest, most talented group we've had in a while. Lambo may be the star, and Jamie the star of the future, but defenses have not been able to key on them like they did Ellen. All you have to do is look at the box scores to see the quality of contributions we are getting... Karin, Shelby, Hannah, Chelsea, Mallory -- so many weapons. Add Abbe's leadership and Meredith's ridiculous libero skills, and you have what we have...

If I have a concern, it's that we've had a number of mid-match slumps, and end up winning in four when we probably should have swept. On the flip side, we've been able to recover and re-establish dominance, but as we enter tournament time we'll need to maintain that energy and intensity that we always start with, throughout the match.

This is a fun team to watch.

This team passes the ball much lower than previous teams when it's on thereby speeding up the offense. Additionally as a team this is the most aggressive serving team I've seen at OU.
